ALL NOISE, NO AIR!
ONCE UPON A TIME, AIR WOULD BLOW OUT THE WHEN THE AIR CONDITIONER WAS TURNED ON. NOW, WITHOUT CHANGING OR MOVING ANYTHING, NO AIR COMES OUT. THE FAN BLOWS JUST LIKE BEFORE...WHAT HAS CHANGED AND WHAT DO I DO?

First turn off the caps, it is considered rude to "yell", and it hurts my eyes anyway.
Second, what year is your car. ------------------ The shortest distance between two points is in my car. |

You mean the motor runs but no air comes out or no cold air comes out?

Caps are off. My car is a 84N/A. The motor (fan) runs but no air is coming out. Also no air comes out when in the vent position. How's that?

Do you get air with the regular vent fan on? It's most likely one of the inlet air flaps are stuck closed.

Is any air getting sucked into the intake? Are the blades turning. Guess these things have a squirrel cage blower of sorts..

First of all, this is a outstanding bulliten board, thanks for all your help. In the continuing struggle with my a/c problem... the fan under the right side dash is running but no air is coming out the vents. If this is a problem with a flap that is closed but shouldn't be, where is it and how do I get to it?
