Dash clicking and ac turning on
On my way home I heard what sounded like clicking coming from the dash and my ac (was off and on 0) turned on to probably a 4 and turned off after a few seconds but now every little bit the ac fans kick on at different speeds but theres always that click before it turns on and a couple randomly. Could it be a small fuse or something? In the mean time I'm not going to drive it because I'm scared it may be a fire hazard or something

Is this a later 944? If so, pull the a/c relay and see if it stops. If that doesn't solve it, pull the big silver fan control relay and see if that helps. Then go through your fuse identification chart to pull individual fuses that could be part of the a/c or fan system. Hopefully, this will help you localize the path you might need to investigate further. Good luck

Check the fuses first. Then try doing a check of all of the different functions to see what works and what doesn't. A/C compressor, cooling fans, blower on all speeds, slider switches, defrost switch and recirc switch, temp control, check for heat and cold from all of the different vents, defrost and floor vents, etc. Also where approximately is the clicking coming from?
