Looking for Car Phone / Car Phone Mount for 944

Hey!

Should be coming into possession of a beautiful 944s2 soon.

I am looking for the car phone, and car phone mounting (plastic / bracket / holder). I think it would be fun to put one back into the car!

I am going to install a bluetooth module into the phone itself to make it work with my iPhone, which should be an interesting project. However, I really want to get the part so that I can have the phone on the right side of the dash!

Has anyone taken that off, as they didn't need it in their car anymore as it doesn't work these days? I would love to buy it off you!

Otherwise - anyone have any idea how I could find the car phone mount? I can find a suitable phone on ebay that would mostly match, but the mount is a mystery to me.

Something I did last month that works very well. I even installed a flush mount USB power port so wires wouldn't go all over the place. The aftermarket radio came with Bluetooth so I did run the mic up the A-pillar.

Christopher, you’re taking about a late 80’s automotive cellular phone, right? The kind that used a squiggly antenna on the rear glass and that we talked on as conspicuously as possible in order to look kinda Hugo Boss?
