Deep Slushy question

Is a slushy considered a liquid or a solid?
just wondering...

both

its really a mix of solid little pieces of ice and liquid sugar/water/coloring mix. like a salad - think crutons and dressing

although, an even bigger mystery is sillyputty!

solid or liquid?

its a liquid because it flows to take the shape of its container -- the definition of a liquid. Although, it's a very very viscous liquid.

You have helped a bunch!! But in a whole, wouldnt a slushy take the shape of its container? Just another thought!

Guys, I think we are on the brink of discovering a fifth chemical state. Slushies aren't a gas, a solid, a liquid, or a plasma. They are a mix of solid and a liquid. The new chemical state should be called the Slushie. lol sorry, I am lame guys.

there is never a state where something is not a solid or a liquid, isn't that sorta cool? Part of the liquid is solid, and part is liquid, but never something inbetween.
Try to picture another color that you have never seen, not a shade or mix, just a color that doesn't exist....impossible, are we all bored of cars or what!!!!!

Slushy's are awesome! I remember back in the day before I had the 944 I rode my mountain bike to the nearest druggy mart and picked one up. Couldn't help not getting one everytime i was in there!

P.S. Nice topic 2young944! haha

ok ok guys, check it out, 7-11 slushies are good and all, but what about Slush Puppies? Remember those? Oh man! Those things were great. I remember how like the guy at the gas station would always tell me "only three squirts" of the juice and I would spray like 20. sorry but those things beat the crap out of Slushies (which are also very good!)

Is that who sells them. I've only seen Mt Dew slushies once. Now I'll have to find a Shell station to stop at Ahh another way for me to get my caffine rush.
