Timing Question

Not Only The First 944 Water Pump,Timing Belt
, Balance Belt, Rollers And Tensioners But
The First Time I Have Ever Done This. My Question Is This, Used A KriKit Tensioner Guage And Set Timing Belt At 40lbs And Balance Belt At 30Lbs. When At TDC -10.
Car Started Right Up But Seems To Have A Slight Whinning Or Whirling Sound. I Read
Hear That It Happens When The Balance Belt
Was Set To Tight Say 35-40lbs. Any Thoughts.

One Bit Of Warning When Installing The Upgraded Water Pump And Cam Roller They Forget To Tell You Anywhere That You Have To Drill Two Holes For The New Brackets Also Enlarge The Cam Roller Hole. It Was To Late
For Me With The Cam Roller Hole. I Sanded One Side Till It Did Not Rub Against The Back
Of The Timing Cover. I Think The New Design Is Good Though.
