Post Clutch problem

I replaced the clutch on my '87 944 n/a at 60k about 800 miles ago. Recently something strange happens: after fairly hard braking(firm push on the brake pedal), the clutch pedal will not come all the way up as I heel-and-toe. This is only happening after heavy braking, all the other times the clutch seems to be working fine and so do the brakes. When the clutch pedal doesn't come up I can still change gears with only about half travel, to make it come up I either pump a couple of times or pull it with my foot. Weird... Any help would be welcome.
Thanks,
Joe

Thanks, I suspected that to be the case.
