oh yeah, how old is your distributor and rotor? wires? does it have a k&n air filter? i'd probably be willing to buy a lot of the stuff from that car. let me know what you want for the pieces i've named here! i feel sooo bad for that car, it must have looked near perfect.

yeah its was close to perfect but hey I got a better car if you can beleive its not cosmetically there yet but next year ill repaint it...Are you willing to come down to chicago for these parts otherwise I'm not sure what to charge not knowing about shipping

wow, that's still kinda far... are you coming east anytime soon? if not, just tell me how much you want for the nose and the passenger side headlight cover, i'll pay for shipping. you didn't have any pictures of the front or the back, but if the front valence is the same, i'd like that too. oh yeah, the wheels too. thanks!!

Ken...polish the pink fender and the red will come right back. When I bought my car, it was totally pink and about four hours worth of work and it now shines almost like it was new. Use polishing compound and some water and follow with Mothers wax. I'll start looking for some other parts for you. Also, don't waste your money on a K&N filter, there will be a change in sound but no performance gain.

haha, i think the picture makes the fender look better than it actually is. it's not pink, it's orange - and lookslike an orange peel too, it's totally crackled. only think i can think of is sanding it down and repainting it. unless i could just sand/polish off the top layer of cracked badness. thanks for looking for parts for me! i'm glad there are forums like this. i got lots of help with my saab on a saab forum too - we gotta keep these cars alive and well!

did you find these on car-part.com?? i tried to do a search here in philly, but i have no idea what category to look under! the prices are good, but shipping across the country seems a little much, don't you think? or is shipping pretty good?

Not sure what the shipping charges would be. Check with the recycler and they will let you know. It's kind of like awful bay.. they charge what they want. I've found places like Oklahoma foreign to be a bit higher but they have great parts and the guys that work there really know a lot about Porsches. Personally, I go for the cheaper parts first and if I can find good condition ones for the price I want to pay, I move up. Shipping may still be cheaper than paint.

yeah, i saw that, it comes in 3 oz containers for about $3... that's still only 12 bucks for a 12 oz(normal can size), not too bad, i guess. is it the right color and the right type of paint? i don't know.

944 Guard's Red LM3A
Thanks to the old post from 3 years ago, the 1-800 # still works and I ordered my 16 oz. spray paint LM3A to touch up the lower front end. Thanks for the tip Rich from Chicago.
