I get mine from Tower Paint $15 a can 1-800-779-6520 tell em Rich from Chicago sent you. It matches pretty good. There will always be a difference when looking closly though. Anytime new paint meets old paint its noticeable no matter what. BTW thats Guards Red paint code mine is the same.

the only way to get it to "match" is to fade it into the next panel. I just had a fender redone and you can notice it but only because the clearcoat is brandnew. I hope that once I wax the rest of the car it will be much less noticeable. The door and the fender match perfectly, both were cleared but only the fender was painted, he did the fade in the door.
If you are doing the lower front lip I would spray it myself but if its on the side or top of the car where it will be very noticable I would have it proffesionally done. |

Guards Red and India Red are the same color. Look at them side-by-side in a body shop paint manual under "Porsche Colors" and you'll see this first-hand.
The paint shop I recently bought some red paint from for my 944 n/a project even confirmed that the mix was exactly the same for the "two" colors.

Ken...any paint store can provide it for you. I don't know what stores are in Philly, but our O'Reilly stores, Napa stores and all other paint stores have it and can put it in cans for you. What parts are you looking to replace, I'll see if I can help you find what you need.

i am looking for a new front valence/air dam thing, and i need a new nose piece, and i'm going to repaint the passenger side headlight cover, and the left fender i have is from a junkyard car, so it's all orange colored. also, there are some dents under the driver's side door and one right behind it. i'll post some pictures

yours is 944, i think i can use your front valence and headlight cover, but the fenders on the 944 are flared, and it would look really weird with one flared fender and the other one not - even if you had two good ones, it would still look weird to have flared fenders in the front but not on the back, haha. what'd you do? take a turn too fast? selling the wheels? i could use your hood too. how about the hatch? well just the lock cylinder and key from the hatch anyways. let me know
