What does everyone do for work???

After 7 years working for the boss. I thought I'd start my own business (four weeks ago) building database solutions. Anything from contact managers (CRM tools) to internet web stores.

If any of you need advice or have a problem....

( I know its bad form to look for business on the forum but I thought this thread might let me get away with it).

Nope, this is the first one in the series I've read. It was specifically recommended to me by a fairly wealthy friend (the guy who's GT-3 car I crewed on). Almost finished - will almost certainly pick up the others and go through them before venturing off into the land of Machiavellian Capitalism...

I.T. Network Administrator in charge of 300 computers/users in 17 different locations all over Kansas. Yeah, I drive 200 miles a day in a P-Car to tell people their Inkjet printer is out of Ink. I just resigned today and will be taking a week off before starting new career change...haven't a clue what I want to do next. Maybe open a little p-car shop because there really aren't any mechanics worth a damn around here.

Second job: teaching radio controlled aircraft basics to students and new fliers. Mostly R/C helicopters, but not in Hawaii (I wish).
