One thing is a copy of my original window sticker. I don't know if this is called a birth certificate or a certificate of authenticity or what, but you know what I mean.
The other thing is the cd-rom that the dealers use to find parts. This won shows the car eploded, everyone has seen it. Thanks Thom |

burn is such an obvious term. I would use evaluate instead.

I think you can get a birth certificate from Porsche of North America. it's like $32 or something. As for the CD Rom I would be willing to buy an "evaluation" copy!

Yes, Porsche Cars of North America will retrieve your car's factory kardex specifications from the archives in Ludwigsburg and send you a certificate of authenticity(suitable for framing!). Send a check or money order for $30.00 and proof of ownership to:
Porsche Cars of North America, Inc Owner Relations Dept. 980 Hammond Dr, suite 1000 Atlanta, Ga 30328 or by calling 1-800-545-8039 A birth certificate for your Porsche...who's ya daddy! |

I don't think the CD goes back that far. I know for '83 944 they use a microfiche.
