Sunroof conversion kit
From the 944 Factory Manual I've found out that a sunroof conversion kit once has been offered to convert the early electrical sunroof lifting system to the later one that Porsche introduced in Febr. '86 in all of their 944 models.
See picture below, please.  Does anyone have such a conversion kit available? Or does anyone know another way to convert the lifting system? Appreciate your help! PT |

My Porsche dealer quoted me something like $375 for the conversion kit. It shows up as a "cable kit" when they search for the early style sunroof drive cables.
