Well i don't suppose anyone still remembers me!?!? Anywho..i made it to college and i'm in Phoenix now! Man it's hot. ANyways...my question. My fiance's roomate's boyfriend is kinda a dork. He thinks his Pontiac Gran Prix supercharged can whoop my 951 all over. I told him i doubt it but i'm up to see what he can do. DOes he have any chance? (besides 0-20?). Just curious. Are those good cars or just family cars with some balls?

go to a track and start out a 60mph, then scoot on up to 130mph. then he'll see who is boss. also, those Grand Prix can handle... like a barrel in a river. unless he's spent a buttload on handling, you can lap him on any nice road course. the supercharger is good for the low end in the Grand Prix, but you don't see Germans driving at 140mph down the autobahn in a Pontiac do you?

I drag raced a 2001 GTP supercharged grand prix up at the local drag strip's test and tune night. With a very crappy start (2.8 second 60' time IIRC), I was able to whoop up on him by over a second to the end of the 1/4 mile. He was hitting the traps at 15.4 or so @ 90ish MPH (I have the time slip in my car for the both of our cars, and if you really want me to, I can dig it up to get the numbers and scan it for you), and I hit the end of the 1/4 at 14.2 @ 102.2 MPH, with chips, LBE, and cat back exhaust.
