When should my clutch pedal release?
My clutch will engage or release at the very top. (pedal almost all the way out) is this normal or bad or what? I just installed a new clutch mstr cylinder and wasnt sure of the adjustment.
Thanks

And mine´s too...about 3/4. I assume a sport clutch feels something like this,my other cars released soon, but were normal cars.

Mine has always released at the top 1/4 of travel... IMHO it makes it easier to slip. It engages higher since i replaced my puck with a spring clutch, but way better than most toyotas i drive all day...

I think you have to make some adjustments. It should be engaging before the 1/2 point. |
