hey, i know you posted how you stripped the paint off your rims. i plan on doing mine this weekend if i can find the paint remover u used. could ya send me a link to the post or to a website ya may have posted it on. im lazy thanx

by chance did ya get any on the tire itself? did it ruin the tire?

I used a brush to apply it, I did pretty good at not getting it on the tire, but I do think it will eat the rubber if you leave it on too long. I too the tire off once I had everything done so I could get the little bit off the edge of the rim.

I used Klean-Strip Low Oder Aircraft Remover, bought it at Auto Zone for about 6 bucks but I have also seen the same brand at Wal-Mart in the paint deparment.

Yes I did do my wheels, they are Fuchs and had black centers now they are bare and are going to be polished. Watch that striper it is some evil stuff wear chemical resistant gloves.
