My neighbor finally got his new(used) engine for his 911. I was researching the 911 site when I came across this post about unusual or homorous comments about the marque we drive. The post ran two or three pages but I read every one of them.

Here was my contribution: From my Mom on the phone, "You bought a WHAT?", and later upon seeing my purchase, "Oh, what a cute car" and finally, riding shotgun, " People are looking at us."

From my Honey, "Let's cruise Waikiki."

A junior doctor saves up and finally gets his dream car- a Porsche 911. He goes home to visit his folks and gives his mum a ride. Half an hour later, he is still beaming with pride until his mum says "Very nice dear, but maybe in a few more years if u save u can get an auto with 4 doors..."
