yup!!...in my cars case it did work...a little sluggish in the bottom but once the boost comes it hits hard....
i had it installed(n/a cam) in my car for quite awhile but with other upgrades i did on the car i can't really tell(post) not until i installed the original turbo cam back yesterday....tried the car this morning and i didn't feel it like the way it was with the N/A cam...so i am going to put it back now!!...yup!! right now!! just waiting for the engine to cool down....and it sounds a little rough when at idle.... sorry no dyno sheet to prove...but from the way i felt it..there was a change... also comparing the boost with and without the N/a cam...the n/a gained 2 more psi.just by replacing it and nothing else done...... |

Oppps!1 before i get flamed on the boost....reason i said it is bec.. my car's wastegate is fully closed(locked)...reason being is bec. the cross over that i put is big and won't build up more boost(less velocity)...so it regulates at 16 psi.for now....so with the n/a i achieved 16 but with the turbocam it is only at 14...

thats odd, I have a turbo cam in my NA and I have no performance difference. The mech told me the cam's were exactly the same. Anybody have access to the both the NA and the turbo cam specs?

my understanding is that the early n/a cam is the same as the turbo but the late n/a cam is different. i have not verified this personally. do you know what year n/a cam you had in the car?
