It should (I was thinking about bidding on it myself)

I think the steering wheel mounting hardware should be pretty much the same.

It looks like the steering wheel on my 87 924S

(the 924S did come with the 3-spoke option... although the Porsche crest on mine is just embossed)

Hi Craig,
Caution! If it is a 911 wheel, then it will not fit straight to a 944. The splines are not the same on the hub, at least not between my '88 951 and my '76 Carrera.
You can easily remedy to that by swapping the hubs. It takes 4 rivets to drill out, and 4 M6 bolts with nylock nuts. I did that many times.

George is correct, it will not fit. it looks the same as the early 944 wheel but it is not. Craig, the 944 3 spoke would be a downgrade from what you have. it will sit lower and hit your knees. you can buy a new leather wrap for your wheel for $40-50. or you can send it away and have them do it for $150. I suggest drivng a 944 with the 3 spoke before you consider buying one.

So there are 2 different 3 spoke wheels? Which were used on which cars?

The wheel itself may be the same, but the hub is different. There actually were 2 series (and 3 versions) of the 3 spoke wheel, but the limiting factor here is the hub.

It will not fit. My friend has a 911SC and the spline is different, I got a good look at it this weekend when we were putting a Momo wheel in his. I also think that the old 911SC wheel would be a downgrade. They are very "dated" looking, more-so when you see one in person.

try it , you might like it. but then again it might not fit.? personally i think it looks old and out dated. a new wheel is much much better. if your tring to impress with the looks? check out the roll bar on ebay. just a thought?
