Grinding noise from Distributor....
More of a fast knocking actually, It only happens when the car is cold. My guess is a loose timing belt..I went in there but had no idea what i was doing so I put all the covers back on... HAHA!!! Does this sound familiar to anyone??

sounds like you're on the right track... but when was the last time your waterpump was done? It makes a grinding type noise when the bearings are failing.
