gearbox mountings?

Everything was going so well and then it happened; selecting all the gears started to become very notchy, I noticed no difference in the clutch but if suddenly taking my foot of the throttle it felt like there was some movement in the drive train, although the gearlever was pretty stable. Usually if I have occasion to lift off things seem nice and solid. The car had done a 100 mile run and then quite a bit of town work before this happened, so was quite warm, in fact the clutch did judder a bit when pulling away but it sometimes does when the car is hot, a feature of this car, or so I've been told! Mileage is 88000. Would you guys please give me your opinions?

Check tranny mounts, Check tranny fluid, If you can find out if you have the updated clutch, Some of the older clutchs used a rubbed disk to stop vibration, urs may be comming apart
