$400, cost of materials, and my labor working on the painters Triumph Motorcycle. (plus all the new seals, door rubber, gaskets, etc. I bought to round out the package)

No real overspray problems. Everything was removed from the exterior shell. My radiator is red now, no biggie, gotta "comb" out the fins anyway. He did an excellent job taping what was left.

It could have been a better taping job, even your inner wheel wells are red

Nothing a little underbody spray can't cure! Looks very good for 400.00 plus your labor, i'd say..

Very nice! Is that Guards? For some reason, it appears a little darker than guards red, at least on my monitor.

It is the factory color Melvin Red, a shade darker than Guards.

I told him not to worry about the wheel wells since I will do an underbody detail with undercoating myself. It needed to be redone anyway.

Ahh, well if you specified not to worry about the wheel wells, then that looks pretty good for $400!!!
Did he paint the fender liners, or were they removed? I can't really tell from the picture.

Did they pull door handles, tail lights, etc? Or were they just masked up?

I am thinking about painting my 944 in a year or so.
It needs new undercoating now though.

From the sounds of it, yours does too. I'll be doing mine in a couple months, if you do yours first, let us know what you use, and how well it works!

Everything on the body was pulled. Good excuess to put all new rubber seals on everything. I need a car show quick, my car has never been this clean inside and out. While at the body shop each piece that was removed was scrubbed clean in the deep sink.

There are a few spots that need a little more attention with the cut and buff routine, but all in all, I am very happy.
