cooling fan question
I have an 84 944 and was curious on weather the cooling fans turn on together when activated by the temp switch, or one,then the other??As of now,the only one running when the car gets warm is the one on the passenger side..I even tried to turn on the air conditioner being some cars secondary fans are operated by the air and still nothing..I also remember hearing what sounded like a fan running slow immedietly after shutting the car off.I dont hear that anymore.The car has a low temp fan activation kit in it and never goes past halfway..Just want to see if there is a problem before one occurs..Any suggestions are appreciated..Thanks..

same on mine and i have 6 bladed fans.

Wilk..You were right..Turned out to be a fuse..It looked fine in its holder but once I removed it,,it fell into peices at the ends..Put a new one in and their both working again..This is the first car Ive seen with fuses for individual left/right lights,fans,ect..Anyway,thanks..

not fuses for left and rt fans but 2 different fuctions if you look at what the fuses are tied to and make work.
