might be a bad switch, maybe dirty.
remove the wheel/24mm, top/bottom covers and the switch. move it up and down douching it with electrical contact cleaner. if it still doesn't work, replace it. i got one from a wrecking yard. test it before you button it all up.

sounds like a bad park switch in the wiper motor to me, at least that's what it would be in an american car. Never had a Porsche wiper motor apart.
if you are too lazy to pull the wiper motor, find the always hot wire to the motor and cut it. good luck nate

I'd check out the manual and see what other devices are on that fuse, if you can live without them you can pull the fuse for temporary relief. If you do not want to spend the money on repair (which is the best way to fix it) you might consider finding the power wire, interupting it and running it to a separate switch in the console behind the shifter, I bought a factory switch and put it in to control my power antenna separately, hate the look of it being up when I'm listening to CD's...

The antenna bends in the wind. Plus I don't see the need to have it up with a CD , why have it going up and down and wear it out for no reason. Here's a newsflash for you, I could give a flying F_U_C_K whether you like how I manage my vehicle, may I suggest the next opportunity you have to go fornicate yourself!! Have a nice day!!!

i made an observation. not everybody in your hometown is waiting to see if you have the antenna up or down. i don't really care but it appears you wear a 10 gallon hat but you've got a 2 qt head and are kinda thin skinned. have a valium, a few beers and keep telling yourself how great you are.

Holy crap, ease up a little bit, there's no need for that language in this thread.
For the power antenna wire, connect it to the power antenna out on your deck. That way it's only up when the radio is on. Anyhoo, for the wipers, it sounds a little like a bad park switch, but I'm inclined to think the issue is in the wiper switch on the steering column. That guess is based on the fact that they remain on the lowest setting, which I presume to mean intermittent. If he means the low speed setting, and not intermittent, then it surely could be the part switch.
