I've been busy...

well not that busy, well how is everyone doing? anyway i got my own house and a garage to do the things i need to do to my 944, and a good car to do my daily driving (03 Mitsubishi Eclipse, gutless and makes me want to cry). oh if your wondering why i havnt posted in a while its becuase my computer at home started on fire...literaly smoke and flames out of the inside it was kinda pretty, anyway im useing a friends comp today so i may not respond for awhile again, but here are my plans in rough order of what im doing to my 944 enjoy:

new suspension: thinking of lowering, along with adjustable swaybars and things like that,

New trany: gonna find a 951 tranny (wish me luck )

NEW engine: this one is going to be hard to do but, I'll try to find or purschase a new 3.0L S2, and maybe make a few light mods to the engine. NO TURBO's, and if all else fails ill rebuild the one i got to a 2.7L still working on details.

Body work: its under way, getting all fiberglass. hood, 4" wider fenders all around, nose, rear bumper, sun roof, just about everything i can except the doors. and paint the entire car a blue-pearlesent silver, its a nice color. local body shop is going to shoot it but im going to do most the prep work to save a buck, try to have all that done by december so i can start on the next subject on my list of things to do. ill have pics when im done.

and interior: well i got all the interior out of my car except the dash going to tear that out once it warms up, im going to reapulster(sp) the interior. seats are going to be reskined with black and silver, the dash, talking to some of the local interior places in town said they could redo the cracked dash and make it look factory again im keeping my fingers crossed, but i think they will just cover it up. New carpeting- black keeping the rear seats out and new black leather triming in the reast of the inside. as well as getting a new sound system and sucurity system as well. and a roll cage to top it off.

wheels: since im getting wider fenders im going to be looking for some deep dished wheels in 17" range to fill the fenders, havent decided on what particular one im going with but im keeping my eye out for one i like.

so all in all im going to do this right and it might take me 5-6 years to complete, based on money bugeting, but thats okay with me. putting the 944 back together here and there is what its all about.

take care of your cars and drive the piss out of them.
