You asked:
[i]"I own an 83 944. Any riceboy looking for a race car should NOT look into a 944. Get a damn honda. BTW, how much HP do the flames add?"[//i] His reply: this car will rice your *ss buddy!!all bidders please click "more".I have just rebuilt the power steering pump, and bought a new wheel so i can sell the car in the same flawless condition i would like to buy one!!! as for the genius who asked that question maybe the cars new owner would be willing to gracefully hand your *ss back to you in a race!!As for the flames they dont add horsepower they just put your wife in my passenger seat (its a chick magnet, and a show winner)!!thank you, more pictures available by e-mail It looks like it's one riceboy selling his 944 to another here... So sad I'd like to see his other pics... the camera-phone sucky pics look like shat.

That car ought to be parted out on general principle just to put it out of its misery.

I second that I like how the suspension droops to one side in the rear, the red painted engine bay sticks out like a sore thumb, and he gutted the original interior - but at least it "goes fast" I wonder if he knows how much those fuchs are worth.................

"this car will smoke a 944 turbo and 911 non modified non turbo with EASE!!! The car has never been drag raced! "
Now.. isn't that a contradiction of sorts? How does he know it smokes 944 Turbos and 911s??? The seller should be parted out... |

maybe someone with an ebay account can post him a link to this thread and any other thread on how much $$$ per hp mods take. if he answers, other ebays can look at teh links too. he obviously has no idea about tuning 944 n/a's, the performance of 944 turbos or n/a 911's... maybe he meant 912!!!
the paint looks cr@p, the hood 'ram air?!' ... doesnt look like its feeding anything. i bet hes 15... no offense to the sensible 15yr olds out there...

Whoever told him this was the nicest, cleanest 944 to ever hit the street obviously has never seen mine. Anyone who describes a 944 in racing lingo is an amatuer, they are designed for the twisties. If you want a fast----car, get a 1970 Barracuda!

944 = one of the best 4 bangers of all time, an excellent ride, I have nothing but admiration and fond memories of mine. Some guy's asked for Boxter feedback, I haven't driven it much yet (weather), BUT...
Some guy's said my 8 valve NA would pass me, no way that's true. Others just don't like the car. I have to tell you malligning the Boxster makes no more sense than the idiots who say the 944 isn't a true Porsche. The Boxster is a great handling fast enjoyable ride...
