Hey guys, I havent gotten my engine out yet, I havent had the time but this saturday it should be out and apart. Anyway I had a litttle free time so I cleaned and repainted my Bursch header with 2,000 degree paint, I will also be doing the header wrap, this should help drop temps in the engine bay along with some other things I will be doing to knock down engine temps, Anyway here is a pic of the cleaned up header
Sorry its not the best pic, I had to resize it because it wouldnt upload

It came with the cat sub pipe (not in pic) I have been able to get by so far but I also purchased a High flow universal cat that I am gonna fit into the cat sub pipe so mybe I will have a chance with emissions. My plane is go to emissions and try to pass as is but if I fail I will get the emission specs for my car, Then im gonna go to work hook up the emissions analyzer and tune her to meet the specs and retest and I hope I will pass

Do they do a visual to see if you have a cat installed up in CT? My friends 87 924S passed WA emissions without a cat. Keep up the good work on your 924S.

the bbq paint at a local parts store works 10 times better when painting headers..... I painted it with the 2000 paintand it literally burned off while setting idleing in my drive way...... I then repainted with the bbq pit paint......and it lasted for months....
