Front wheel bearing.....
I just did the front wheel bearings the other day and the "new" grease seals were the plastic type as oppossed to the metal housed type that came off the wheel. The new seals are CRP.
Is it ok the use this new style?

Yep! As long as you install them JUST as carefully, as you should ANY seal. Most of these "plastic type" seals are just rubberized over a metal ring. No big thing.

Thanks Granite 944. I only have to worry about now is if I put too much grease on the steering spindle or too little in the hub. I think that I'm good to go, after all what is the worst that can happen? Replace the bearings in a couple of months?
