Finally got full pics up
Here's my 1/2 a grand good-guy special n/a 944.
You can see why I want to get the front fixed up asap... after the electrical problem and a full clutch/fidanza/shifter. She needs some attention in a lot of little areas, but mostly pretty solid and has lots of potential. I need it DETAILED.. BAD! BTW - anyone know if that center '944' light panel can just be taken out and move the plate up in there? I've seen more pics like that than mine has.. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

nice car.
What you need is Maguire's Quik Wax. It is really more of a cleaner than a wax, and will take all that crap off the bottom of your car with one wipe (and leave a nice shine)

That 944 thing between the tail lights is an after market item. I dont know how it comes off but it will. I never like the way those things made the back of the car look.

it was aftermarket, but some dealerships would install them as an option

it's just 2 or 4 bolts under the rear carpet..
only thing is, if you do move your plate up you're gonna have a bunch of holes a) where your plate mount used to be in your bumper.. and b) the holes behind the 944 reflector will be visible... you'll also probably need to drill new holes for the new plate mount.. I kinda like how it looks at night anyway..

You should try and hook up with a guy on here named BryanThompson...he is from Nebraska too. Maybe you two could do some cruising.

Unfortunately you will be left with holes if you remove that light panel.
IMO they are ugly, and I would never have one on my car, but some people really like them.
