is there some way to align the doors? when i bought my car the passenger door seems to close with some force needed and it doesnt seem to close tightly on the top so water leaks through the top when i wash the car .

Last time I took a door off there were bolts going through the hinges and into the body. Could also have a bent door. Or a bent body.

Also the latch and pin adjust.

Does the door seal have a gap at the top rear?

When was the last time you changed your timing and balance belts and/or cam chain and tensioner?

I suggest replacing the seal with new. New ones have the gap at the bottom. Even think some of the new ones are continuous -- gap has been glued. The window part of these doors has a tendency to crack inside the door body just above the door handle. This will cause the top rear of the door to "bend out".
