Please, need help(clutch)

Clutch is not returning up. Bleed the brakes and the slave cylinder, using a bleeder pump. Car was running fine, parked and next day, clutch went down, only hand pulling, bring it up.
Any ideas?

Thanks Carlos

Clutch slave cylinder leaking. Pull the starter and check for leakage around the seal.

Hi, maybe your clutch master is at fault?

Usually a master cylinder leak causes the pedal to stick down.
Have a look under the pedals (and down the carpet.....)
Replace both cylinders, pressure and feed hoses.
You will need a pressure bleeder to properly bleed the system.

Brake (and clutch) fluid should be changed every two years.

Timing belt? Fuel pump (DME) relay changed too?

Maybe when you bleed the brakes you let the level in the tank get down low enough to get a air bubble in the line that feeds the clutch, they share the same reservoir. I bleed the brakes on one of our Isuzu NPR trucks, they have the same setup and got a air bubble but it did not stick to the floor, it would not disengage the clutch but maybe a Porsche will react differently. Try bleeding the clutch.

The MS seals might be bad even if it doesn't leak. Thats what happened to me last week. It was very random at first. It would feel fine most of the time and then just go to the floor for no reason. It got bad enough that I had to look into it. Nothing was leaking and bleeding the system didn't help. Turned out the MS wouldn't develop pressure.

clutch master cylinder. It gets the its fluid from the brake master. Follow the blue rubber hose (if yours is still original color) from the brake master tank and it will lead you to the clutch master cylinder. From the clutch master cylinder it follows a line to the clutch slave cylinder.

a very small amount of Spray silicone worked 4 me. Temperature may be a factor as well. it seems cold weather is not condusive to clutch bleeding.

Hi, bleed point is at the slave cylinder. Make sure though you don't suck down the brake resiviour though and get air into your clutch master cylinder because the clutch and brake share the same resiviour.
