Compressor Clutch

I am trying to remove the solenoid from the compressor but can not figure out how to get the nut off of the front of the clutch. The shaft turns when I turn the nut. How do you do this?

I rented a tool from autozone that removes the clutch... but still not working for me. The first piece is a threaded tube that screws round the bolt holding the clutch on. The second piece is a threaded rod that goes in the middle of the first and pushed against the bolt (like a puller). This still doesn't allow me unscrew the clutch bolt. I can't use vice grips or anything like that cause I don't want to bend the pulley.

hold the clutch with a pair of channel locks and remove the bolt and then that puller you have will work like a charm....just went through this with mine
