Double din install ?
Has anyone installed a double did gps in a 944, will it fit, if so do you have photos.

Take a look at the shape of the under-radio storage bin. You'd have to cut into the frame to do it, and I still don't know if it would clear the torque tube...

you can run a lillyput touch screen lcd and run it to a gps unit in your glove box or something.

I have a double din. You have to take the tray out from under the radio. Mine fit even though the "books" say it will not.

Images are attached, you may or may not be able to see them. Also, if you've got an early '85 (924 interior), this probably doesn't work for you.
