In the **** in Spain

Tried to bleed air from the coolant on my 924S by loosening the 12 mm bolt just before the upper radiator hose....the head sheared (it was ready to go) and coolant everywhere.

Fortunately 100 yards from garage so all OK.

The question?....what size is the replacement bolt?.....12 mm by ?

No peace with a Porsche.............Saludos..............GraemeB

It is a 12mm head but the bolt is 8mm x 8, thread pitch is 1.0. The bolt is hollow and has a hole in the side of the threads near the head.

Buena suerte! Si no lo puedes encontrar, responde y te envio uno.

I believe what you want is a banjo bolt, but it's too dark/hot/lazy right now for me to go look.

GraemeB,

Está bien. Si en el futuro necesitas algo, me puedes mandar un PM. Yo tengo bastantes piezas de recambio y tambien las pongo en Ebay.

Ciao,
Adalbert
