Those look good, having a Koni insert gives one peace-of-mind. I get the impression that the rear shocks are not coil over so you don't have rear ride height adjustment at the spring perches and you would have to do torsion bars but they don't show a photo. Did they mention anything about adjustability? Nice price though.

It looks like they are custom valved and thus not adjustable for rebound or compression. I don't think this would make a good full-race setup but I'm sure they would work well for DE/AX if you don't want to go 4 corner coil-over with double/triple adjust etc. which would be expected to cost more.

Yea I think it just comes with Koni rear shocks. It would be for a street light DE/AX setup, But mostly street. I can adjust rear ride high with the accentric. I dont really want to mess to much with the Torsion bars since I hear its a big pain. SO I figure why not try this setup. Seems like a very good price for what you get. SHould be good for the street/back roads ;-)

I'd want to know (explicitly stated in writing) that the rear shock is also custom-valved. Furthermore, what front spring rate does it come with, and what t-bar rate in the rear is it matched to? I see no indication that there's provision for a rear coilover setup; without this, you would either need to replace your torsion bars or be limited in just how much your front spring rate could be increased over stock without completely screwing up your car's balance.

It also doesn't seem like that fantastic of a deal to me. I mean, a hundred more and you can have the Bilstein Firehawk setup WITH rear coilovers, much better shocks, and ditch the adjustable camber plates (not needed right away, for a street car).

You might also cross-shop the 944 Spec suspension packages - more work to install, but you'd end up with a proven suspension package...

924 Racr makes a good point, check out the spec class suspension packages paragon products sells, they include sway bars and look like a good bargain. http://www.*****************.com/product_p/944spec-4.htm

You could also buy some Porsche OEM M030 front struts with adjustable konis and ride height (from Pelican), surely a good and proven setup and probably not much more expensive, I agree you don't need the camber plates as you can set the front camber at the eccentric on the strut, the plates give you quick adjustability and stiffness you probably don't need for your application.

The bilstein firehawk kit, I believe, is similar to the ground control kit and does not appear to have rear ride height adjustment or coil overs

The bilstein escort cup kit does however.

LOL! Somebody better tell Lindsey... I'm sure there's an extra "1" in there.

They actually price at $1700-ish.
