Anyone have an Euro N/A bumper on their 944?

Is there any place in North America to find one?

admittedly, the one in the first pic above is the one i fell in love with - i just couldn't find any anywhere!!! but i liked this one much more over stock..

I've since straightened out the bumperettes, AND installed a mint condition front valance to replace that old bent banged up one...

You can Modify you exsisting bumper to end up with This. I have done 3 944's like this so far.

I have one similar to the white one in the other thread referenced in this thread; the one with the "XUY 169R" front plate showing.

I'd be willing to sell. Fiberglass. Comes complete with brackets, bumperettes, driving lights and new flush headlight washer nozzles

PM me if interested. Located in Nebraska.

EDIT: Just to clear up any confusion, this bumper is sold.

Also, to clear up this issue, this bumper came off a euro 924S and will NOT fit on a 944. Be sure you check the numbers on the bumper before buying one because they aren't interchangeable without changing the lower valance on the 944. At least, that's been my experience. YMMV.

Sometimes you can find these bumpers on Ebay in the UK.

no offense, but that just don't look right

To bad i'm in Europe, cause i'm ditching my stock 944S FG bumper and lower valance to go with a once piece lightweight FG bumper/valance...

don't think it's cost effective to ship a bumper to the US, and definitely not now with the Exchange rates

All Australian delivered 944's are ROW and get the same as the POMs (British)

I was thinking of doing that exact same thing, with the whole stubbed nose look, but on my NA 944 I just bought 951 quarters, under bumper, nose, and bumper cover and at the moment I am just doing a 951 conversion.

I like the look of that silver 944 with turbo 944 nose panel and hood.

you mean with turbo 924 nose panel and hood
because the 944 turbo always had a nose panel that looked like all other 944's

I need the light surrounds for mine. If anybody is planning to do a parts import I'd be willing to help divide shipping costs, etc. One interesting ( to us in the US I suppose) thing I learned was that the lights in the bumper are actually the high beams, they are not just fog or driving lights. I have a Euro car but no applicable wiring diagrams, so I was stumped on that for a while. Mine is somewhat unique in that my valance has no foglights. I like the cleaner look of that, especially since I barely ever would use them anyway.

if you've found that it might be a market difference within RoW cars. Mine have definitely all been parklights only but i'll check. i agree, i prefer the no foglights front valence. try this porsche dismantler for the brackets http://autobahn.co.nz/contactus.htm
