				LSD Question

Were LSD's an option on early cars? If so, anyone know the going price for them? Thanks

Unfortunetley it was an option on all 944's except for the Turbo S and '89 951's. Its a shame Porsche did not offer it standard. Going rate now days, i would say in the area of $600-1000 depending on condition of the transmission for a n/a. And anywhere from $900-1500 for a 951 box with LSD. The S2 boxes go for about the same, but usually on the higher end of that due to rarity and the better gearing (shorter).

Ok, good. I actually found a 944 in the junk yard this morning. Was just seeing if it would be worth it to pull it out or not. Unfortunatly I couldn't use it in my late 85.
