I have a loud clicking noise coming from the rear of the car which usually takes place when when accelerating. If I take my foot off the gas, it is gone. I also hear it on turns, especially when turning left. Any clues to what it could be?
If so what can I do to fix it? I want people to check out the car for its beauty not the noise! |

cv axle shafts, probably the inners...buy reman'd or new for $$$$..... but if not mechanically inclined, rebuild them yourself and save

you could also reverse the axle-shafts and see if the noise goes away. Then you can run on them for a while, as you save up the $$ for a new set of CVs ![]() -Nick

Check your local Autozone.. they have complete rebuilt axle assemblies with a nice warranty on them. Last i checked they were not terribly expensive.
May save you the trouble of rebuilding them yourself, which is a messy (but relativley easy) job. Saves some downtime also.
