ssssub,
if you still read this thread try to post something over at HMT - Homemade Turbo - Home of the real home made turbo setups!.

Please be very civil though, and try not to take the trash talk to heart. There are a lot of younger kids on there that will give you flack but just ignore them.

I would like to help you to not blow it up, and would like to see a video of the results

They why can Jimmy Deering continue to do it? He is on the bulletin board right now using the user name "SoCal911dude" aka Jay, after being banned several times under various user names!

Does anyone know what happened to this guy, is he on any other forums, I'm curious to see how this all turned out. Although his methods weren't to everyone's liking, I give him credit for his ingenuity.

When you test it on the street, have your recorder ready.

And please, please post the video on youtube of the car dying in a fiery blaze.

Thanks

+1 for the use of an adjustable fuel pressure regulator, one that has 1:1 rising rate for the boost (A must).

+1 for the use of a AFR gauge (A must).

Please remove the PVC because when it is heated above 130 deg. F. it starts to boil off Chlorine Gas - very caustic to aluminum and human lungs.

If you must use the plastic piping use CPVC as it will hold it's chemical composition and strength through 250 deg. F. - Then it becomes brittle and cracks and does not emit poisonous gas (out-gassing of polyvinyl softeners above 250 deg. F.).

Loved the idea of an Oil Pressure Gauge for Fuel Pressure (That's a $300.00 savings) Now to find an oil pressure gauge that says pressure only.

PS: never mind all of the ladies grumping over the back fence - they are never politically correct when a new neighbor arrives.
