How'd you get that save off your HD?
And that is typical of Forza online...Which is why I rarely play online.... |

I would also recommend GT Legends for the PC. It costs about $10 right now, and you can drive a 914/6, 911RSR, 908 among many other awesome rides. Sounds and graphics are outstanding, car modeling and physics are top notch. I couldn't recommend this game more, especially for the giveaway price.
Read my review of the game here: http://www.gamingheaven.net/gamingreviews.php?reviewid=353 rasta

More footage from GTL (resolution not too great. . .but the game looks fantastic at 1600x1200):

yeah - they really have gotten the visual details in there - i have to give credit to the graphics guys
now, as soon as they can figure out how to give me the sensation of being slung into the side of the car, the neck strain of holding my head still, and the cramp in my left foot, and the numbness in my butt, i'm in hmmmmm - those are all things i complain about and i'd like to not have to go through - maybe this video game thing isn't so bad after all - lol |

lol - i don't know - as it stands now, initial race car budget for next car is right at $50k - that thing is probably only about $10k
the problem is that if she won't let me have a pool table, what is she going to think about that? |

not a games fan .just watched the clip of Dinnington Park above, and what was missing was " this is going to hurt if I get this wrong" as one drives down through the Craner curves ( about 120 mph in a sorted 924S).
Previous commentator mentioned that no-one can get to drive the Nordschleiffe circuit.Oh yes you can: its a toll road with no speed limits, and you buy a ticket and head on out.

OK, I'm officially a geek now. I made a replica of my car, sit on the couch with steering wheel and drive it. Forza 3 is awesome!

Benchmark Test Track - I think it was part of the add on pack using the download code given for reserving thru Game Stop.

Thanks for all your replies so far.
I don't see any mention of the simbin made series of GTR games which probably means there is no 944 available there. The GTR series is the best I've ever played in terms of both realism and feel, hands down. You can even get a device called trackIR which changes where you look according to your head movements. You can look out the side windows around the hairpins!!!! You can change seating position in all axis and you can set up the car as you want. I have tested forza now, and although it is extremely well made I still prefer the GTR games. Maybe I just need to get used to Forza.... Anyways does anyone know of a mod or addon for the simbin series that feature the 944?

I have gtr 2. Thought I would like it but without a wheel it pretty much sucks. So that sends me to Forza. Which I have a wheel for.
