Help-need late model owners help!!!

The PO cut off the plug end for the thermofan switch, and hard wired the three wires to the switch with female connectors. He screwed up.

I'm replacing the old switch with a new one.

Can someone with a 3 wired (late) switch tell me what order the wires are in ?

As in...outside, middle, outside...whatever.

The wires are brown, brown/yellow and red/white.

I've got the wiring diagram...of course it has numbered the terminals 1, 2,3...the switch (OEM) has a "+", 1, 2 in that order from left to right under each prong on the switch.

ARRGH!

This is just a guess, but I'd say that red/white goes to the + terminal.
