You cant stick a turbo on a 944s engine?

Why not, talk to Perfectchoice. I think you can put one on anything, but there's the cost. You've got plumbing, getting the exhaust in & out of the turbo. More plumbing, getting the intake air into , out of the turbo, best if through an intercooler, to the intake manifold. More plumbing, getting oil through turbo bearings. Then you have to modify fuel & timing to react under boost. If comprssion is too high, I'd say 8.5 to 1, you need new pistons or cut bigger combustion chambers.
With all this trouble, that is why they say "just buy a 951". drew1 |

or go to speedforceracing.com and look at their supercharger....although expensive its what you probably want

complete turbo ehaust system..turbo intake manifold..oil cooler..turbobracket(motormount)..rest will be(if)intercooler plumbings...injectors.....not sure about the fuelpump...and last will be de bugging the cars perf..
but if you have the tech. ability...then u can just fabricate the exh. manifolds and plumbings and keeping the N/a manifold stock... |
