Cooling Fan 1 blows 25 AMP fuse
Hello Good People,
I have noticed that the #15 fuse - Cooling Fan 1 keeps blowing its 25 AMP fuse. Any tips would be much appreciated! T.I.A.

Bad fan
Sounds like a bad fan to me. Both of my fans went out on my 84. The bearings just give out and they lock up which causes too much draw on the electrical. That's probably what blew the fuse. I blew several fuses and even a rely before I figured this out. You can get a new fan for $50 or so at a junkyard. If the one in there already is a 3 blade, I would get the 6 blade that comes on the later models. I think from 86 on they started using 6 blade fans. They move the air better and can cool a bit better. There is an article on Clark's Garage that talks about the fans and how they work and how to test them.

Radiator Fan Resistor Set
Did some more research and noticed a piece of broken ceramic in the passenger footwell.
Could this be the reason why the driving side cooling fan isn't working The picture below simple shows a Radiator Fan Resistor Set. What I found in the passenger side wasn't in the metal casing. T.I.A.
