throttle cable

i was looking at my throttle cable not the shift cable that connects to the lower part of the transmission and i noticed it was frayed, so i was curious if this part number is the right one 944-423-023-02-OEM, because i can't find any throttle cables for autos on here, please help

all the throttle cables are the same . if your talking about the kickdown cable that goes from the throttle cam to the trans i do have the part # for that at my shop and can get it for you tomarrow when i get to work . the only place i could get one was from the porsche dealer .

At the top of the page where it says "Search Pelican Parts" enter that part number and it comes up as the Accelerator cable for like $62. Sometimes you just need to try different words to find the part you want. I bought one of these and installed it last year.

Correction to part number... try 951-423-023-03-M100 for the '86 944, It's $68.

so just that we are all on the same page, i am talking about the lower of the 2 cables on the transmission the one that has the spring/metal thingy,,, attached to it, not the shift cable.
