Strut Inserts - Install Old Wiper Gaskets?
I've placed the KYB strut inserts into the struts (85.5 with removable screw tops), with the black spacing collar (came with the inserts) in place prior to screwing the old cover down tight.
My old inserts had rubber wiper-gaskets installed just under the screw-cover - but my thought is that these were integral with the design of the old inserts, and that I should not use these wipers with the new inserts. Is this correct? |

Correct, there's no need for them.
