If there is "pumping" in the coolant resivior when cranking the engine, likely it's the head gasket.......
At least in my experience.

Thanks for all this information, it's crazy to see everyone trying to help, but now an even worse problem as occurred. I took a nap after my classes and before work, and when I went outside to start my car (which started and drove earlier just fine) I'm just getting a whining noise and no crank. I checked my battery posts, fine. My electronics are working just fine, I haven't got much chance to look at anything else but suggestions would be much appreciated.
