What is it worth?

I have to sell my car It is just too expensive for me right now. What do you think I can get for it. It is a 1985.5 944 na, everything works except the motor for the rear hatch. There is also a small dent in the left rear fender.

What do you guys think I should ask for it?

I am in canada if that makes a difference

^ Sad but true. I recently "sold" an '88 in great condition. Recovered seats, excellent paint, records, Design 90 wheels with 120k miles and super clean. I was asking $5500 cdn for it which I thought was more than fair because I just wanted to get rid of it. I had a bunch of people come by but nobody had any cash. After several insulting lowball offers I ended up giving it to a friend. The market values posted in "Excellence" magazine unfortunately don't match what the cars are actually selling for. These cars are similar to rare baseball cards. The books state a value that nobody wants to pay and if they're not "mint" they're seriously devalued. Anyhow check out the local Kijiji and CL ads to see what they're listed for. Good luck with the sale.

That sums it up pretty well. I listed my N/A, and it's not even worth trying to sell. Will probably give mine away to my mom or something.
