I have a 86 944 na Has been hit a few times The interior engine, transmission are great

I found a 84 944 na. What can i use as a upgrade

How hard is a dash swap? will my carpet work, 86 door panels fit the 84 without the dash swap?

Will my dme work?

Here is what I know. The driveline will transplant but you should use the DME and the AFM from the 86. The dash swap is supposedly a beast to accomplish and I know nothing of the door panels but I suspect there are differences as the window switches and inside door handles are different.
