Will this work?
Hi all,
A few simple questions. Will a power steering pump off of an 85 944 n/a fit an 87 944 n/a? Will it function the same? One of the parts places that I contacted wants to know if my pump has an electrical pressure switch...Huh! Never heard of such a thing. How would I tell if it does, where is it located and what is it's purpose? Thanks again guys.

All the 944/924s/951 pumps are the same part number.
The one with the switch is for a 944S..that would fit too.....

oopps..
The purpose of the switch is to send a load signal to the dme, the idle stabiliser then operates ot keep the idle even.
