removing distributor rotor
Mine seems to be seized in place, yup the little torx screw is out. Looks like a plastic rotor arm on a brass collar on the camshaft. Is there a keyway, or spline and do I have to wreck the old one to get it off, or is there a cunning trick to it..?
cheers Rissole

i've had to wreck a couple of them. then i had to use vise grips (the horror!!!) to get the brass collar off of the camshaft.
when you put it back together, use a little anti-seize on the inside of the rotor.

Thanks Nynor.
Guess that means a replacement is required. ![]() Or live with it. I found I could still remove the cam cover so maybe next time I'm in there... cheers Russell
