Flywheel - Identification Help Needed
Cross Posted this over on the 911 Forum as well.
Calling the collective geniuses here. Found this flywheel in my garage. It's either for a 911 or a 944 (I have owned both). It's been stored in a box for at least 10 years. Any ideas on what it fits? It's been a while since I've had to do a clutch on either car so I don't remember what the flywheels look like. It weights 13.4 lbs. ![]() ![]() ![]()

Eliminate 951, the bolt holes all match but there are a few balance holes missing and the outer ring looks too big for a 951. It looks very close so 944na maybe or turbo S if it's different from the regular 951.

9ff - Thanks!
Should have been clearer in my post...my bad. I owned an 88 944 NA (sold), 85 911 (Gone - RIP) and the cars in the signature. Sounding like this was probably bought for the 88 944 NA. Wish I could figure out where / when I bought it. Looks like email archive research time. :-)

If there is only one pin at the outer perimeter, most likely a flywheel from a very early 944.
