A/C delete

I have been contemplating removing the A/C gear from my car as the temp where I live is not usually so hot overall. My question is are all A/C delete brackets the same? Do any of you have recommendations?

Well the only difference really is the factory delete bracket allows you to retain the front engine hoist ring in the same position it was meant to be. The aftermarket brackets still let you mount the hoist ring, but in a much lower position. You can use a longer bolt and just stack washers to get it back up to where it has to be, but some people may think this looks a bit tacky with a dozen washers spacing the bolt out.

Really not a huge deal, but really is the only major difference. One can probably argue the aftermarket billet brackets are marginally lighter (we are talking maybe 1lb here).

Basically, go with whichever you want.
